Foundation of the Department
The Department of Computer and Information Technology (DCIT) at Faculty of Science and Arts – Khulais, at KAU – North Jeddah Branch was established in 1429 AH - September 2009. DCIT award the students with BSc in Information Technology and in Management Information Systems. The aim of the DCIT is to prepare highly qualified graduates in IT/MIS in a manner that empower them to improve managerial operations to reduce organizational burdens, financial expenses and overcome the problems of human operations that could ne caused from the routine work. The availability of IT/MIS will increase the competition factor of the organization. The programs provided by the department award BSc in MIS after passing in 128 accredited hours on eight semesters. As well, the DCIT aims to use the latest technologies and methodologies to the students in KSA along side with the continuous development of curriculum.
